<idAbs>&lt;div style='text-align:Left;'&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;To produce this image, first a best-available annotated copy of the 1971 Zoning Plan was obtained and scanned in color at 400 dpi on an Oce A0-size scanner. In ArcGIS Desktop, Georeferencing tools, approximately 30 points were identified to correlate features in the 1971 map scan with existing parcel and county boundary features. The scan was then resampled using a second-order polynomial fit from the control points to project the scan into NAD 1983 HARN, California Coordinates (State Plane) zone 3.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The resulting scan allows a quick and reasonably accurate overly of the 1971 Zoning Plan on modern parcels, building footprints, and diverse map layers.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</idAbs>
